Emma was born April 15th, 2008 – tax baby, haha.
I cannot believe how fast time flies by, she is already 1 year old and it feels like she was born just yesterday.

We took advantage of a beautiful weather today and took Emma to a playground. When we got home to grab a quick dinner before going for a walk to downtown Royal Oak, Emma was so exhausted she quickly fell asleep with a book in her little hands.
Anyway, I wouldn’t even pay attention to her falling asleep if not for Marzena:
-Look, a sleeping beauty
-Pardon me?
-Look at her book dummy!
Then it finally hit me
. I love the moment captured here and find this picture hilarious. Just wanted to share…

I’m working on this huge folder of images I took over past 11 months, thinking what am I gonna use for the album, and there are more and more coming every day. This will be one BIG book I guess.
Here are a few from last couple of days. I know my family will love me for posting so many pictures of our baby

I’m shooting lot’s of pictures of our daughter and as her birthday approaches I’m slowly getting ready to make a book documenting her first year.
When she gets up in the morning we bring her to our bedroom so our sleepy heads have few more minutes to wake up
, and I snapped a few frames of Emma with a “morning hairdo”. Tonight I documented her evening routine – you know, the usual: milk, bath, playing with mommy before bed, etc.

This is a continuation of my last post.
We got tired of cold and took a trip to Daytona Beach, FL for a change. Here are some shots.

I’ve been browsing through some images from my sister’s visit last year, and wanted to share a few. This is a project I’ve been putting away for some time, and there is never enough time to work on personal stuff. My sister’s visit lasted 3 weeks which came and passed before I knew it. I miss her so much. Naturally I took tons of pictures and decided to make them black and white fiber prints. I can’t put too much time into it now, but don’t want to postpone any longer either so I’ll work on few images a day until it’s finished. I may even share some more here. Hope you’ll enjoy it
BTW, all images taken with one of my favorite lenses – 24 1.4.

Many of you keep asking me about posting Emma’s pictures, and we have so many. Marzena and I are snapping away all the time, but I rarely blog any. Well, here you go. The one with the hat is obviously a little older, probably from mid October. The one with the pink dress I just took today. Emma got this dress as a gift, and she looks so cute in it that we wanted to get at least couple shots before she gets to big to wear it. I know my family is also checking out my blog so I promise to blog her a little more often. Till the next time
