I’m working on this huge folder of images I took over past 11 months, thinking what am I gonna use for the album, and there are more and more coming every day. This will be one BIG book I guess.
Here are a few from last couple of days. I know my family will love me for posting so many pictures of our baby
I’m shooting lot’s of pictures of our daughter and as her birthday approaches I’m slowly getting ready to make a book documenting her first year.
When she gets up in the morning we bring her to our bedroom so our sleepy heads have few more minutes to wake up , and I snapped a few frames of Emma with a “morning hairdo”. Tonight I documented her evening routine – you know, the usual: milk, bath, playing with mommy before bed, etc.
I love milky
Playing with mommy is what I do
OK sheep, I'll bite you one more time today and I'm off to bed
I’ve been browsing through some images from my sister’s visit last year, and wanted to share a few. This is a project I’ve been putting away for some time, and there is never enough time to work on personal stuff. My sister’s visit lasted 3 weeks which came and passed before I knew it. I miss her so much. Naturally I took tons of pictures and decided to make them black and white fiber prints. I can’t put too much time into it now, but don’t want to postpone any longer either so I’ll work on few images a day until it’s finished. I may even share some more here. Hope you’ll enjoy it
BTW, all images taken with one of my favorite lenses – 24 1.4.
Why in this high tech world b&w images are so popular? We are surrounded by digital cameras with great color fidelity, producing amazing skin tones, and yet many prefer black and white to color. There is something timeless and simple in b&w photos. Monochrome images are often helping directing the attention to what photographer wants to show, discarding the distracting colors. Not to say I don’t like color photography, in fact I love both. However often times my personal work ends up being converted to monochrome for some reason. Here is a recent picture I took of my wife. I love her beautiful brown eyes, and yet, when deciding how to print it, I decided to go B&W. There is no point in this post really, I just wanted to share a reflection I had when preparing the file for printing. Choices are good
Many of you keep asking me about posting Emma’s pictures, and we have so many. Marzena and I are snapping away all the time, but I rarely blog any. Well, here you go. The one with the hat is obviously a little older, probably from mid October. The one with the pink dress I just took today. Emma got this dress as a gift, and she looks so cute in it that we wanted to get at least couple shots before she gets to big to wear it. I know my family is also checking out my blog so I promise to blog her a little more often. Till the next time
OK people, I seriously need to take a rest, this walking is so exhausting

Hello blog readers. I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season!
I wanted to share with you Keith and Nicki’s amazing wedding. The couple couldn’t choose a better location to get married. It perfectly fits their personalities. I’m talking about Seldom Blues in downtown Detroit, with spectacular view of the Detroit River and Windsor skyline. This place is a wedding photographer’s dream with great lighting and countless cool spots that can be incorporated into shots.
I’m not big on writing and I rather let photography tell a story so I created a short slideshow with highlights of the day. It’s not a small file so give it a few minutes to download once you hit the ‘Play’ button – I promise it’s worth the wait.
Nicki and Keith - Love them! They look fantastic! Can't wait to see the rest when we get back. Thank yo for capturing such a wonderful night! Love, NIcki and Keith
Deidre & Jeff Weber - Great photos Marcin, It was great to see you at Nicki & Keith's wedding. We are sorry we were not able to get together while we were home, time has flown by! We wish you the best in the New year! Take care:)
Marcin - Hey guys,
it was great to see you too :). Give us a call the next time you're in town. Happy New Year!
It’s been a while since we photographed Sosi and Aram’s fabulous wedding. I’m probably the only photographer that provides images first and blogs the wedding later. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?…
Nevertheless, here we are and what a wedding it was! Hmm, how would I describe it in one word? Party! Yes, one huge party that started early in the day, way before the reception What fun! Being surrounded on the dance floor by 400 dancing wedding guests is an experience to be remembered for sure.
Reception was held at Shenandoah Banquet, Golf and conference Center in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
I also wanted to give a shout out to Ryan from Epic Motion who was shooting video. Ryan is a great guy and his work is outstanding so check him out if you are looking for a videographer.
Finally about the pictures. Today since this post is so long overdue a little different approach with the slideshow instead. It’s a big file and may take a while to download depending on your Internet connection, but should be worth the wait. Enjoy!
Sosi - Just beautiful! Thank you so much for this :) Everyone loved it!
You were the best! Thank you again...
Sosi & Aram
Karen Hagopian - I just wanted to thank you for such a special rememberance of the wedding day. You captured our emotions along with our friends and family. A very special gift that I will cherish forever. Mom of Sosi and now Aram.
